Privacy Policy

ShipX Auto Transport ("ShipX", "we", "us") is a licensed and bonded auto transport broker (USDOT #8280254, MC #77783161) that arranges vehicle shipping between customers and motor carriers throughout the United States. This policy applies to shipxautotransport.com and any related quoting, booking, tracking and email services we operate.

Information you give us. Name, email address, phone number, pickup and delivery ZIP codes and addresses, preferred dates, vehicle details (year, make, model, VIN, condition, modifications), and any notes you include with a quote or booking request.

Payment information. Booking Fees and balances are processed by a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. Card numbers are entered directly with that processor; ShipX does not store full card numbers on our systems.

Automatically collected information. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring URLs, collected through standard web logs and analytics. If you use the location feature, we use the coordinates you approve only to fill in your pickup or delivery location.

Camera and VIN scanning. The optional VIN scanner runs in your browser to read the VIN barcode from your device camera. Images are processed on your device and are not uploaded or stored by ShipX; only the decoded VIN is submitted with your quote.

• Calculate estimates and prepare quotes for your vehicle shipment.
• Arrange transport with a carrier, including sharing the details a carrier needs to complete pickup and delivery.
• Process Booking Fees, balances, refunds and chargebacks.
• Send transactional messages: quote confirmations, booking and payment confirmations, documents, and shipment status updates.
• Provide customer support, resolve claims and maintain shipment records.
• Detect fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal and FMCSA recordkeeping obligations.

We share personal information only as needed to deliver the service: with the assigned motor carrier and dispatch platforms; with payment processors; with email and SMS delivery providers; with hosting, database and analytics vendors acting on our behalf; and with legal or regulatory authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Text messaging is opt-in only and the consent box is unchecked by default. We send SMS messages only about your quote request and customer service inquiries — never marketing. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and we record the date, the exact wording you agreed to, and the page where you gave consent.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from all texts, START to resubscribe, or HELP for assistance. You can also email info@shipxautotransport.com to be removed. We never sell or share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing.

You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any such email. Transactional messages about an active shipment (payment receipts, dispatch and delivery notices) will continue by email while your order is in progress.

We use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working (session handling, security, saved quote progress) and limited analytics cookies to understand site performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work if you do.

We retain quote and shipment records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax and broker recordkeeping requirements. We protect information using encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access for staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may object to certain processing. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including California) may exercise the rights those laws provide, including the right to know, delete, correct, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request, email info@shipxautotransport.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
